Project Elan

Scandinavian design focuses on clean, simple lines,  minimalism, and functionality without sacrificing  beauty. My client believed in ‘less is more’ and needed to have  that in their bedroom space. While furniture-filled  rooms have loads of options to visually distract from  the boring, benign, or broken, there’s a small margin  for error in a minimalist space.  The challenge of a minimalist design is that having  less stuff means everything in the room needs to be  both gorgeous and practical.   

The key elements guiding the design were:

• Minimalist aesthetic

• Light, neutral colors

• Airy space filled with light

• Wood furniture and wood accents
